Best Internet Café Contest
07-03-2003

To mark the 10th anniversary of the first Internet café, Yahoo is launching a search for the best Internet cafe of 2004. There are four categories of possible winners: The cafe in the most unusual or remote location, the most stylish cafe, the one with the best coffee, and the most accessible.

Nominations can be made until Nov. 1 and the winners could receive a free round-the-world ticket to the winning cafes. Not too shabby. Entries must include a 500 word essay about why a cafe deserves to win.

The Internet cafe on Mount Everest is thought to be a shoe-in winner for the most remote location, but if you have a favorite Internet café that falls within one of the categories, get on over to Yahoo.com and submit it for consideration.
